Today's Featured Biography
Angie Eifert Key
Ok, I didn't officially graduate from Kingsway, but I was feeling nostalgic and signed up under the class of '92. Had my family not returned to the U.S., I would've been an official alum. I attended KA from 3rd grade (Miss Misener) through 6th grade (Mrs. Taylor, also for 4th grade, and Mr. Sattem for 5th grade). I was fortunate to attend Kingsway's 1992 graduation, though I wish I could've maintained contact with many of my former classmates.
My closest friends during my time there were Terez Davis, Dawn Lamb, and Heidi Pinder. I considered Chad Roberts my boyfriend, but I'm not sure how serious we were at 12.
Anyway, I went to Lafayette College and Penn State graduate school. I lived on the West Coast, in Orange County, California, and I was a teacher for nine years.
Now I'm a meeting planner and freelance travel agent, living in Pennsylvania. I'm obsessed with travel, and have been blessed to visit six continents. In my free time I play tennis and golf.
My husband and I met in 7th grade, though we didn't date until after college. We married in 1998, and we don't have kids. Not yet, but maybe not ever. We do have a dog, named Betty, and she rules the house.
