Today's Featured Biography
Daniel Pinder
After KA I moved to Florida and attended Florida Institute of Technology. After having a ton of fun for a year (Pi Lambda Phi rules!) and completely bombing out I worked retail for 3 years.
After working retail that long I noticed something. Insanely small paychecks. So I went back to school and obtained my A+, Networks+, MCP, MSCE, and MSCA certifications. Nothing special for computer nerds but I got em and that's what counts. After that I started the job hunt. Almost everything wanted someone with experience. Which I didn't have, and couldn't get without a job. But I couldn't get a job without experience. See where this is going? Anyway, I finally found a job, but it was across the state in a bank. I knew I would be in over my head there so I passed.
So I packed up what I could in my car, drove to Fort Lauderdale and put my car on a boat bound for Spanish Wells. I flew home and moved in with my parents until my car got here with all my stuff. Then I moved into my own house about 2 months later.
I got married about a month later. Yes, married!! Ha! Bet none of you were expecting that, huh?
So anyway, this year makes 3 years of marriage for me and all is well.
I currently work in the family's dive shop and I also do computer work on the side. (Come on, me doing computer work, who *didn't* see that?) I build, repair, and service computers after hours and on the weekend.
That's basically it.
