Today's Featured Biography

Timothy Reed

It's been 10 years since I left Germany. Time just flies by. My family returned to a town just on the outskirts of New Orleans, where I finished High School. I tried the colloege thing and was doing great until boredom set in. I think having grown so accustomed to moving, it was time to move out and move on. I joined the Army at 20 and met my wife at 21 while in language school at the Presidio of Monterey, CA. We've been married for almost 5 years now and have two awesome kids.

As for work. I'm still in the Army, and I'm up for promotion to SSG right now. I'll be getting commissioned here soon as well. I learned Korean at the language school and have been struggling to maintain it since then. And, it is most definitely a struggle. Right now I'm readying for deployment to Iraq. I leave around the end of March and will be gone for a year. I'll have access to a computer though, and I'll look forward to mail should anyone care to write. timothy.ryan.reed@us.army.mil
