I graduated from the University of the Philippines year 1979 (at last, said my mom and dad!), with a degree in Bachelor of Arts, major in Political
Science. I am an active alumni member of the U.P. Phi Delta Alpha Sorority. I am presently working in a private company somewhere in Manila. I have 2 lovely (like their mom) daughters. My eldest is working with an American company located in Ortigas,Pasig, Philippines while my youngest is a student at the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines.
I enjoy listening to music (jazz, reggae and most especially, rock). I love to read, the most recent being the Harry Potter series. I also find doing crosswords fun and challenging . Since I am a working mother, I usually spend the weekends with my daughters, unless we have dates! We usually go to the mall (we love to shop) or just chill out at home watching movies, or just hang out with our gang (my eldest and I share the same circle of friends) over a few bottles of beer.
I love the heat of summer. It goes with my fave attire (shorts, tshirt and flipflops). Never mind if I am drenched with sweat, just as long as it's not raining. If i feel hot I can always take a long shower to cool me down. Or, I can go to the beach and enjoy a massage by the shore while drinking an ice-cold bottle of beer.
My daughters and I are all kikay and we more or less have the same taste in clothes, music and boys (?) so we get along quite well together (most of the time, that is). We live a simple life, but we're cool and we rock!
I am presently enjoying my single life, having been widowed more than a year ago. But if any of you guys out there are interested (that is, kung wala kayong sabit ha coz i dont want your wives to come running after me, ha, ha, ha), just send your resume to our class administrator so he can forward it to me for evaluation (JUST KIDDING!)
I have been in touch with Offie (Guadiz-Magaling) for a few years now, and just recently, with Bobby (Calicdan). We usually exchange emails or chat with each other. Other classmates which I had seen quite recently were Alzaida (Aida) Ferrer-Salinas, Cecilia (Cecil) de Guzman-Benin, Cesar (Oscar) Lim, Zaldy Guico and Nestor (Sammy) Mendoza (all of them still based in Pangasinan) and Eufemia (Ping) Sanchez when she came home to visit the Phils. Romeo (Romy) Visperas was also able to contact me via text and he said he is living with his family somewhere in Makati City.
POSTSCRIPT:
After 2 years of being "single and loving it", I am now happily married to the best husband in the world, CHARLIE.
