Today's Featured Biography
Bonnie Ready Leigh
After graduation I worked one year for the City of Anchorage saving money for my college fund. My family returned to Tacoma Washington and I went to the Univeristy of Puget Sound and later transferred to Montana State University. I met my husband in Montana while he was visiting my cousin and we had 36 good years together. Both of our children live in the Tacoma area. Son is a Technical operations manager for a local medical center and daughter is a Financial analyst for NYB Mellon. Grand daughter is busy getting ready for 8th grade.(As the lone grand child I try not to spoil her too much) She will become a teenager this August and we are flying to Hawaii to celebrate. I retired in 2004 from Tacoma School District after 28 years of service in the Finance Office but have been enticed to come back on occasion to help out in various administrative offices.
