To All 1959 Anchorage High School Graduates:
Alaskans really enjoyed seeing so many AHS ‘59ers at our 50th Reunion. STOP.
It"s not premature to discuss the 55th AHS Reunion in 2014. STOP.
Informal group “Alaskan AHS ‘59ers” meet for coffee here once a month. STOP.
Established trust account and selected dates for 55th Reunion in 2014. STOP.
Your calendar should reflect three important dates in 2014. STOP.
June 19th, June 20th, June 21st are selected for the 55th Reunion. STOP.
Rough schedule of 55th Reunion plans listed below. STOP.
June 19th: AHS ‘59er “Mixer” (@6->9pm). STOP.
June 20th: One-of-possible-3 all-day events below. STOP.
[ ] Alaska Railroad trip to Seward with Glacier Tour. STOP.
[ ] Mahay’s River Boat (White-Water) Tour out of Talkeetna. STOP.
[ ] Hiking on the Matanuska Glacier out of Sutton. STOP.
June 21st: Good Bye Brunch (@10am-2pm) Anchorage Senior Center. STOP.
Plan allows visitors to tour prior to 19th, on the 19th, or after Brunch. STOP.
Summer Solstice is June 22nd with longest daylight. STOP.
Note limited program allows time for group to talk-time each day. STOP.
Publishing book of Remembrances/Memories of grads vignettes/stories. STOP
Send us your short stories of AHS and youthful Alaskan experiences. STOP.
Please do share your unique personal memories with classmates. STOP.
Have printed a sample booklet, but need 20-30 more stories. STOP.

Married two days after graduation; five kids in four years; divorced; became a hairdresser, attended community college with lots of work in art and literature; remarried 1969, another daughter (no-the math doesn't add up)...lived on Kenai Peninsula from 68 to 90 and back to Anch but discovered I really couldn't go home again...
