Roy Grannell

Right after graduating in 87, I spent the next four years at the University of Colorado, Boulder where I earned my degree in Marketing but more importantly spent entirely too much time skiing.

After CU, I went up to Seattle and spent the next 4 years working for an international freight forwarding company, learning to fly, and dating my girlfriend Maria. We got married in 97 and promptly left Seattle and the rain for sunnier skies and a better job in San Diego, California.

During our 7 years in San Diego, we did what typical Californians do; commute, spend time at the beach, commute, and commute some more to and from work. In 2004 we had our first son Marshall and life has never slowed down since!

In 2004, I finally had the opportunity to go work in avaition with a new start-up company that builds very small jet aircraft called Eclipse Aviation. So after about 30 seconds of decision time, The three of us packed up and left for Albuquerque, New Mexico. Just when we were getting into a routine, we had our second (and last) child in Merren. She is already a ball of fire and gives Marshall a run for his money!

In 2008 I accepted a new position in Dallas still staying in aviation. We love Texas and plan to make this home for a long while!
