Today's Featured Biography
Russell Walter
Born in Anchorage in 1975. After graduating from West went to college in Oregon, then moved back to Alaska, married Diane Feb. '94 and welcomed our boy Andrew to the world in May. of '94. Moved to Colorado Springs with my family for 2 years and went to school, moved back to Alaska in '96. Joined the Air Force in Dec. '96 as a Munitions Systems Specialist, assigned to Pope AFB, N.C. Apr. '97-'98 and Kadena AB, Okinawa '98-'01 where our daughter was born. The kids are great, healthy and beautiful! Andrew looks and acts just like me, Gracie looks and acts just like mommy. We've been married 9 years now, still going strong! Now about the rest of my life...
I separated from the AF in Aug '01 as a Staff Sergeant to enter the ROTC 1-year program. I attended U. of Alaska, Anchorage and graduated in May '02. I then reentered the Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant and was assigned to Grand Forks AFB, N.D. I have to stay here at least 2 years and will probably stay 3. My new job is Contracting, which is a challenging job with lots of information to learn. Wish I could come to the reunion, but it's not going to happen! Maybe the 20-year will happen. Take care.
