Today's Featured Biography
Cheryl Rogers Smith
Since I left school and became a parent and married I have lived in Alabama, Honolulu, Hawaii(73-75), St. Louis,Mo(75-78), Miami, Fl(78-80), Fire Island,NY(80-83), Key West,Fl(83-86), New Orleans, La(86-88), and Picayune, Ms(88-90). Mitch retired from USCG in 89 and went to work for the Port Of South Louisiana in Laplace, La, where we have lived since Sept 1990. We have 4 children-8 grandchildren - and a 1 yr old blue-eyed great grandson! Mitch and I have been married 38 years. He is Class of 68 of Fairhope High School, and has not attended one class reunion. I'm pushing the old fella to go to his next - he might just enjoy himself. I worked odd jobs as we needed extra money over the years, but stayed home to raise our family - especially since Mitch was off & on a ship frequently and I had to do Mom/Dad rolls a lot. I worked in several Enlisted Wives Clubs and have done Relay for Life while here in LaPlace.
