My name is Jerry Duane Turner I was born on March 8, 1971, In Phoenix, Arizona. I remember when I was a kid me and my brother, we lived around some dairy farms and farm fields, riding are bikes and running around with the neighbor kids. I went to Tolleson Union High School from 1986-1991,during my high school years I ran Track, cross country and played basketball and The jobs I worked at was Tupperware, Shamrock dairy plant and taco bell during the time I was in high school.
After graduation, I worked for Target from 1991-1993 then I got a job with toys r us and was there from 1993-1994.I moved to Alaska and got a job working on the Fishing boats; I stayed there from January of 1994 to March of 1995 and moved back to Arizona. I started working for a rigging company moving machines in the new Motorola building. One day woke up and my cousin was going to take a test for the military and he asked if I want to take the test too. So I took the test and the next day I was told I passed the test. So I went to Fort Knox Kentucky for basic from July 1995-Oct 1995.
I was stationed in Germany from Oct 1995-Dec 2001; I did 2 tours in Bosnia and 1 in Kosovo. I have a daughter from a previous marriage. I dated a woman in 1999 � 2001 and got married on September 12, 2001. We are still married and have two dogs. My wife works for a big Investment Bank in Frankfurt and I�m a Supervisor for a book store/ Retail for the military name AAFES, I been with them since 2001.
I been with Axia College from March 2008 and just graduated on July 25, 2010 in Phoenix with my associate in Business. My next step is my bachelors in Global business Management. I have enjoyed the time with Axia College and looking forward to joining the University of Phoenix team.
The reason why I went to school was, planning on making a career change in my life and later in the future I and my wife will be making a move to the states, because her career is in Investment banking. The other reason is I would be the second in the family to get associates degree and the first to get a bachelors degree.
