Hi all! 20 years........wow hard to believe! I've really enjoyed reading all of your profiles and am looking forward to reading more, unfortunately, I won't be at the reunion, family vacation instead....
I never left Colorado Springs, I love it here too much. First marriage was short and over with in a less than two years (too young to be married, or should I say stupid to get married at 19?) Moved on to Mr. Right (Scott Edwards) in 1992 and have been happily married ever since. We live in the Rockrimmon area of the springs.
We have two fabulous children, Seth is 9 and in 4th grade and a really awesome kid, laidback, smart, and really in to karate right now. Jessica is 4, and completely different from her brother, she loves princesses and dancing, she might be taking after her "high-maintenance" mom, who knows!
I took one semester of college out of high school, then decided to work for a while doing all sorts of secretarial jobs. Then I completed my Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems while working full-time for the City of Colorado Springs (worked there for 10 years). Went to then Compaq Computer Corp as a Support Systems Engineer, Compaq merged with HP and I stayed there for about 7 years. I was just recently laid off from there in October. Tried my hand in real estate, but it wasn't for me.
On to my creative side for employment, writing quilt patterns and making quilts. I had my first pattern published in May and am looking forward to getting more published. Working part-time at a quilt shop, mostly for the discount and the fun of it!!
I still keep in touch with Lisa Wiggins (Crawford) and have run in to a few of you over the years, but not many. I'm now working a second part-time job at Cook Communications Ministries (with Lisa!) and enjoying the flexibility it is giving me with my family.
