Today's Featured Biography
Judith Glidewell Jergensen
We currently live in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, but our permanent home is in Black Forest and our hearts are with our families in Colorado.
Jerry and I have spent the last 5 years traveling extensively. As representatives of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, we've been to Senegal, Mauritania, Mali, Morroco, and Liberia in West Africa, Tajikistan, Russia, Philippines,Indonesia, Borneo, and Mongolia. On other assignments we've traveled to Chile, the U.K., Paris and Aiglemont in France, and Portugal. We have a book full of experiences! Some favorites include riding camels through the desert in Tombouctou, Mali, visiting Red Square in Moscow in the middle of winter, and traveling 'self shown roads' through Mongolia and staying cozy and warm in a ger when the temperature outside was -40.
The difficult part of all this is being so far away from our families. Our three very young grandchildren (4yr, 2yr, and 3 mos)change very fast! Hopefully, they'll be able to visit us here for adventures!
