Kelley Ryan

First, I want to say that I came away from our reunion in awe of our class. Not only was I overjoyed at people's accomplishments, but I was stunned and humbled by the challenges overcome by some of our fellow Warriors. The outpouring of love and support for our friends was palpable this weekend, and it is clear that the isolation of our little orphan community northeast of Stapleton airport produced everlasting bonds among us. Huge thanks and hats of to the organizers who made this weekend such a success!

For those of you who I didn't get the chance to visit with at the reunion, here's a little update:
Following HS graduation, I headed to CSU. After my second year I transferred out and completed my undergrad at Stanford. It is there that I met my future husband, Wayne Chavez. From there it was Disney in LA for 3 years and Citibank in Argentina for 2 years. We returned to the States in 1997 to do our MBAs at Harvard. We married in 1998 between our first and second years. We graduated in 1999 and headed for Manhattan. I worked for 4 years in venture capital and finally got started with raising a family. Our first daughter, Anya, was born in 2003. She's my little shadow (as you will note in the reunion photo. She wouldn't let me take the picture alone, so thanks all for letting me indulge her!) The family moved back to Colorado in 2005, and our second daughter, Ellie, was born in 2006. We live in Boulder where we are raising the girls and starting (or in my case, attempting to start) our own companies.
