VIEW ALL REUNIONS

Attention all Alameda Alumni; we visited Lakewood Heritage center today and we were shocked to see Lakewood High School memorabilia and nothing from Alameda. If you are unfamiliar with this facility it is a historical, culture Center and museum highlighting the city of Lakewood. The grounds are on Wadsworth blvd just north of our Alameda High. We asked the curator why the had Lakewood memorabilia but nothing from Alameda ? Which is less then a mile away. Her response was no one had donated any items from Alameda. (She also went to Lakewood)
>> The items on display today were a cheerleader megaphone and a letter sweater from Lakewood. These were older items from the 40's and 50's. I know Alameda Alumni have all kinds of things collecting dust in their basements that the would be a great addition to the Heritage Center. Let's find some of that old classic "stuff" and represent our school. You can send your items direct to, Catlin Lewis Lakewood Heritage Center, 801 South Yarrow Street, Lakewood 80226. Let's go Pirates!

Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
