Welcome to all of you who have registered here in the last few months. Sorry the website hasn't been up-to-snuff. I'm back in school, and my mom insists I do my homework. ;-) At any rate, we're glad you're here. I hope you can reconnect with some old friends - that's the whole purpose of the website.
Be sure to visit us on Facebook, too. We have a page there as well. If you "friend" anyone there who is already a member of the Class of '73 page, ask them to "invite" you so that you can keep up with everyone there.
Welcome to all who are just finding us today. We're glad you found us! Please register on this site to be kept up-to-date on future reunion plans.
If you have any difficulty building your profile, email me - my email is visible to all in my profile. Please consider making your email visible. Only registered and signed-on classmates can access them now. Someone may want to contact you!
I really need help with news and ideas for the site. Please contact me at crisgo55@aol.com. Thank you!
And always - please contribute to this website if you can. The developers of ClassReport.org do not charge anything for us to set up this site or maintain it - plus they offer free tech support. And, as always, there is no fee to register here - with no ads, no spam, and no pop-ups!
Thank you!

Urgent Call for Soldier Supplies!
Well, it’s that time again when I ask of you to please donate to a very worthy cause.
As most of you are aware, my son’s special operations battalion has once again deployed to far away regions in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Their missions are classified and therefore locations and durations of deployment are kept secret. Due to these reasons, these soldiers are not listed on any sites for people to send care packages to. Therefore, any donations of personal supplies, postage funds, or letters and cards of support would be greatly appreciated.
Below is a list of suggested donation items that would be most helpful and appreciated during this trying time for these courageous heroes. Something as small as a box of Q-tips (used to clean the desert sand out of weapons), a tin of Copenhagen, or packs of gum (help calm nerves when on dangerous missions), magazines (pass the time between missions), cookies and other snacks for treats. The suggestion list has been compiled from information and requests that I have received from the soldiers over the past eight years of war in the Middle East.
Thank You for Your Continued Support!
Donna Beall Morris

After graduation left for Mercer University in Macon, Ga. Went there for 3 years, transferred to University of Florida to the College of Pharmacy and graduated from there in 1979. Meet my husband ( who I have divorced in 1996) there and we married at First Methodist in Dunedin in June of 1979. My first job was at Waterman Hospital in the pharmacy dept. Was there for 25 years. I am now the manager of a retail pharmacy in an emergency clinic.
Have 2 children: Will(1983)and Andy(1986).
Every fall finds me in Gainesville every Saturday enjoying every home game. Go Gators!!!
Love to go to the beach, spend several weeks there every year. And love the mountains.
Our good friend Eleanor Large passed away unexpectedly at her home in Michigan on July 6, 2010.
Eleanor was a feminist before most of us knew what that meant. In high school, she was active in Usherettes and other clubs, class government and Student Congress, and was distinguished by her work with the Piper and Cauldron.
In her adult life, she traveled extensively and was a life-long Girl Scout. She doted on her two nieces. Eleanor had many friends amongst her colleagues.
Eleanor graduated from St. Petersburg College and the University of South Florida, and was an e-Commerce Project Manager with the Foremost Insurance Company where she was employed for 37 years.
She was predeceased by her mother, Anna; father, Raymond A. and brother, Raymond T. Large. She was a devoted aunt to nieces Kimberly Large of Palm Harbor; Melissa Geiger and her husband, Phil Geiger; and great nephew, Ethan Geiger, all of St. Petersburg.
We sadly report that Cathy Barrett Broaddus passed away in 2003 from complications after surgery.
Cathy married Jim Broaddus and lived in Lexington, Kentucky for many years. They had three children together.
Cathy worked as an ICU nurse, and had returned to Florida to live in 2001.
Her three children are doing well - Brent works in agriculture, Heather is an R.N. and Shannon is studying to also become a nurse.
Cathy's mother and sister still live in the Clearwater area. Cathy's mom, Ann, says, "We miss her every day."
Jim Mitchell died Friday, January 16, 2009 peacefully with his loving wife and family by his side. He was 53.
Jim was a graduate of USF with a degree in Finance. He was a self employed painting contractor who truly enjoyed his work. Jim was a very dedicated family man who enjoyed coaching his kids in sports. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, and the Miami Dolphins.
He is survived by his wife Michelle; children Ryan, Natalie, Adam, and Patrick; stepchildren Amy, Danny, and Bobby; siblings Scott, Ann, and Dan; and four grandchildren whom he absolutely adored.
Jim was a loving, kind, and compassionate man who will be missed by all who knew him.
