Friday,
November
27,
2009 - 11:00 am
Wiggins Pass State Park, Naples, FL
Beach day at Wiggins Pass State Park Friday, November 27th (this is a change from the 28th) after Thanksgiving, for Class of 1976 and their FMHS alum friends! Invite friends from other classes to join us for a day in the sun. Family members are welcome, too. Come early in case parking is an issue, and let's make a day of it. The pavilion is at the northern most end of the park. Hot dogs & hamburgers, and cold drinks will be provided.
Please take a minute to register on this site so that we can get an accurate head count. Attendees outside the class should e-mail Charlie to RSVP. If you need to change plans later, you can let Charlie know. If you can bring a potluck side, that would be terrific. Also, contact him with any questions regarding food, beverages, parking, etc.

One week after graduation, I went into the Air Force. I spent two years working as a Fuel Systems Tech on fighters. Spent time in a number of places, but six months TDY in Panama, South America is the most memorable. I crashed my brains out once again in 1978 on my Honda CB750, and ended up receiving an Honorable Discharge that year. Guess they didn't want damaged material in the ranks. After the parting, I spent seven months on disibilty recovering from the crash. I then went back to work in the motorcycle industry for a while and continued to race motocross. I then decided to go back to school. I attended Edison College and almost got my degree in Computer Science. I changed my mind at the last minute and worked towards earning a degree in Real Estate. All the while, still racing motocross. In 1981, I was blessed with what would be my only son. I found I was not ready to get married. She stressed that he should be raised by two parents, not one. After a lot of soul searching, I agreed with his mother, and gave him up for adoption. Seems she didn't want me to raise the kid on the back of a motorcycle at motocross events. I started my career as an appraiser in 1984 in Naples, Fl. I have continued in the real estate profession since. I finally married at 40 and was divorced a couple of years later. I didn't even have a fever. Some of you will get this. I found my son a few years ago and stay in touch with him and his family that live in West Palm Beach. I am also proud to say I have two new grandsons. I stay in touch with my son's mother who lives in Boca Raton. The ex-wife and I are still good friends. I visit her and the granddaughters in Atlanta, Ga. Life is good! For now, visit WWW.Classmates.com for photos.
