Today's Featured Biography
Monica Bell Muenstermann
I went to college in Powell,WY and got a degree in Photography and Design, while freezing half to death!
When I came home to sunny Florida, I went to work for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. I met my husband there, and we are happily married with 2 stepkids and 6 step-grandkids. After 4 years as a dispatcher, I transferred to be the Photo Lab Supervisor there until 1989.
By then I was burned out on crime and gruesome photos, and decided to find a job I really enjoyed.
I applied to the Federal Aviation Administration, and became an Air Traffic Controller. I really loved that, and worked in Pompano Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, and Kansas City. (Never spoke to Kevin Scarski that I know of, but who knows?)
In 2001 I had to give it up because of a detached retina, and moved back to Orlando to work for Disney, a lifelong dream. I always said I would work there when I retired, it just came a little sooner than planned! I am a Guest Service Coordinator for Disneyland Paris; it's a great job with lots of fun perks. I also sing in the Cast Choir for the Christmas season at the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT.
So I'm loving life in Orlando, really enjoy being a Disney cast member, and still love photography and design.
