After high school, I joined the Navy and became a nuclear engineer. I traveled all over europe and visited many countries including the United Kingdom, Greece, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the United Arab Emerates. I was on my way home when on Sept 11, 2001, the trade center was attacked. My ship, the Enterprise, was sent back to fight in Afghanistan, and when we finally returned home, we had spent a total of 8 months at sea. I took some much needed leave and came home to columbus Ga for Christmas, and met my wife at the annual Aflac Christmas party. After I was Honorably Discharged from the Navy, I got married, and started going to Columbus State to begin work on an Electrical Engineering degree. Currently I have completed almost all the coursework here at Georgia Tech, but this degree is taking forever...
