Today's Featured Biography
Roy Thomley
I left Tifton after my Junior year at TCHS and graduated from Richmond Co. HS in Rockingham, NC where I met and married my wife Lois. From There I attended Sand Hills Comm. College, NC State and UNC Wilmington. After graduation, I decided to stay in Wilmington, NC and work for a local restaurant equipment company. After about 6 years, I bought part of the business and worked there designing foodservice facilities throughout the Eastern Seaboard until I retired at 63. After retiring, Lois and I built a home on Lake Tillery, located in Norwood, NC on property we owned for about 20 years. I have one son, Christopher... I have always missed my friends in Tifton and hope all of you are doing well...
