Today's Featured Biography
Sheri Frazier
We moved to Austin permanently in 1992 (Michel tried to get me to give Oregon a chance, but no chance!) If you know me, you know I was born in Texas and moved to O'ahu after the 5th grade. (And for those who don't know me, that's right, Texas, NOT California!)
I have scads of family here, most importantly little brother Scott. My mom and sister (and her family) still live on the country side on O'ahu. I miss home terribly, and yes, I do consider Hawaii my primary home and always will. Economic factors sent us searching....we lived in Hilo for a couple of years but it was no more home to us than New York City would be, so we figured we'd come live somewhere sunny and where we also feel at home. Austin is a very close second in desirability and we are happy here.
The Maui trip was absolute heaven- I got to spend 10 glorious days on O'ahu and 4 on Maui...very rare we can afford such a trip (only I went), so it was a real treat.
I'm a Fed, and my husband just retired from the State, working most of his career in the protection of abused and neglected children.
Michel had kids when I met him, so I acquired my teenagers when I was 26. Yes, I lived to tell about it. They are delightful people and I like to think I had a little something to do with that. Jason has 2 kids and lives in Oregon, and Dani and her husband live near to us. Now Michel and I live with our 4 Boxers (well, one is a Mastiff mix). We adore them...I will attempt to put up a slide show at some point to show them off.
I look forward to seeing more bios soon, "y'all" get busy!
