John Estrella

After WHS, I earned my BS in Computer Science from the University of Detroit in 1992. I went back to the Philippines and started working as an IT consultant for Andersen Consulting. I did a lot of mountain climbing when I was there and I also met my future wife, Maria. While working on a project in Minneapolis for Andersen Consulting, I managed to get a full academic scholarship for my master's degree which I completed in ten months with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Minneapolis was a lot of fun ... camping, canoeing, etc. After grad school, I moved to Toronto in 1995 and I have been here since then. I started my own IT management consulting firm in 1999 ... raised a family, got a PhD, published two books so far, did marathons, competed in triathlons, etc. Life is great so far and I am hoping to see all of you again!
