The committee would like to thank everyone that was able to attend the activities in person, via the phone, through written letters and in spirit. We would also like to give a huge round of applause to all the classmates and teachers that gave so generously to the RLHS Class of 1979 Scholarship Fund, together we raised $1200.00!!
More Reunion highlights to follow with pictures as soon as we all get some R & R
Friday October 9th - Ice Breaker, Alpine Country Club We had a fantastic turn out, more attendees than ever before, way to go class & teachers!! "The Doctor" Dave Yaris D.J. for our dancing and listening pleasure. We hired a professional photographer who said our class attendance was so large that he would have to move us outdoors for the Group Class Photo, and it turned our very well. So the short story (for those of you that did not attend) we laughed, hugged, chatted, danced, and partied until Midnight. If you want the long story you'll have to call one of the committee members or one of your classmates. The reunion committee left after 2:00 am, because we were taking down all the fantastic Then & Now Decorations.
October 10th - Family Picnic, Lake Villa Township Park We had the grills going, and everyone brought their food and drinks to have a very nice "family style picnic." The day was very cold, but those of us in attendance had fun even though we got smoked out by the fire pit! Mr. Greenhill thanks for all the help!
Sunday October 11th - Private Champagne Brunch Cruise in Lake Geneva The lake was calm, the food was good and we got scolded for talking too loudly. So after brunch we drifted to the upper deck, (which we had all to ourselves) to visit, enjoy the scenery and take in some fresh Wisconsin air. After the cruise a group of us wandered around Lake Geneva and eventually stopped into a little bar to get some more refreshments and have a bunch of good old belly laughs
This is a list of our 30 Year Reunion Scholarship Fund supporters. We set a Committee goal to raise $1200.00 and we as a class, along with our teachers have reached and surpassed our goal!!!!!

I moved from Round Lake to Atlanta in my junior year. I finished High School at Jonesboro HS. Then I graduated from the University of Georgia and received my BS in Psychology. I have worked for the Credit Union for 23 years. I have been married for 18 years and have two children. Madison is 13 and Jonathan is 11.
