Today's Featured Biography
Shirley Devane
I married right out of high school and was a full-time mom to my three daughters, Monet, Amber, and Melissa. We moved to San Diego, where Melissa met her husband and still lives. After 25 years of marriage, I returned to Louisiana where I put myself through SLU as a business major. After graduation I moved to Virginia and became a Human Resource Manager for a computer consulting firm. When the firm merged with a larger one, I returned to Louisiana. I am currently a Medicaid Analyst for the Department of Health and Hospitals. My three daughters have given me six grandchildren. Monet has two boys, Morgan DeVane Robinson and Garrett Alexander Robinson and lives in Williamsburg, VA where her husband is Public Affairs Officer at the College of William and Mary. Amber has contributed two as well with Regan Marie Wells and Ethan Paul Wells and lives in Hammond. A side note, Amber is married to Eric Wells, the nephew of Bernard Alluli. My youngest daughter, Melissa and her husband Michael, have two children and they live in San Diego. She has Sophia Elizabeth Lopez and John Michael Lopez.
