Since our last reunion, my husband Maurice passed away in April, 2015. I spent 5 weeks in France the summer of 2016 and am now a Senior at the University of New Orleans. I have downsized to a studio apartment and still have the trip to Nova Scotia on my bucket list. My French is passable if I am allowed time to switch codes. :)I have added several more Tulane Student films to my repertoire. In addition, I have been in several New Orleans theatre productions including Southern Rep's production of Airline Highway and To Kill a Mockingbird at The Bayou Theatre in Lockport. I have an upcoming one woman play "Broomstick" in Lockport at the end of September. Scary! But it'll all be over one way or another by the time I see you guys in November.
After graduating from LHS and attending USL for a year, I moved to New Orleans where I married my husband, Maurice. We have three children, Susan, Stephen and Beth who have given us 4 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, and 2 great-grandsons.
I have done a little traveling over the years, mostly in the U.S. but spent a few weeks in Poland when my husband took his high school jazz band there for their summer trip back in the 70’s. I also traveled with a friend to Trinidad and Tobago right after the attempted coup in 1990. Both were very interesting and enjoyable trips.
We moved to Nashville, TN in 2000 to support our youngest daughter’s interest in pursuing a singing career. Twelve years, a son-in-law, a call into the ministry for them, and two grandchildren later we are back in New Orleans.
While in Nashville, I renewed my interest in theater and had speaking roles in several plays in semi-professional theatre. So of course having been bitten by the acting bug again, I was excited to find out that there are filming opportunities in New Orleans.
After starting acting classes last year with Veleka Gray, a veteran actor, and a prominent acting teacher, I was recently signed by Del Corral Agency. I have had several auditions to date and just added my first film (a Tulane Student Film) which is due to be screened in April to my resume.
In addition to taking private acting classes and babysitting for my grandchildren, I am also currently taking classes with the intent to earn an A.A. in Performance and Media Arts at Delgado Community College, after which I plan to transfer to the University of New Orleans to earn a B.A. in Film Arts. God willing, I also hope to learn French and visit the homelands of my ancestors, Nova Scotia and France.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
