Todd Volk

Moved to Plymouth, Indiana in 1982. Didn't apply myself like they told us to in high school, so I had to work my way up the ladder the hard way. CARPET INSTALLER (killer on the knees), FOUNDRY (killer on lungs), FOREMAN AT PILGRAM FARMS ("The pickle palace"), MACHINIST at Indiana Tool, and since 1991 a Machinist at Biomet (an orthopedic company in Warsaw, Indiana-the Orthopedic capital of the world. From 1982 thru 1994 I crashed and burned in two marriages (remember, I was not the most mature person in high school!!), but during that time I was blessed with three wonderful children. Amber(1984) expecting a baby boy in June. How many other grandparents are out there?!! Brandon(1986) freshman in college and a member of the fire department. Elysia (1989) my youngest, who is a sopohomore in high school. In 1995, I met my true sweetheart (just took a little longer )Karen. She had been a legal secretary for 20+ years and is now director of area programs for youth here in North Manchester, where we have resided for 10+ years now. We just celebrated our 10th anniversary in February. She has two boys of her own (Yeah, we're talkin' Brady Bunch stuff here). Todd (1984) who is a junior in college and member of the Huntington University basketball team now playing in the NAIA Tourney being held in Branson Missouri (road trip this weekend) and Jason (1987) who is a freshman in college. Did a lot of coaching of our children as they were growing up, which has led me down a path I would have never dreamed of. I coach Junior Varsity Volleyball in the fall, Girls' Junior Varsity Basketball in the winter, and now Junior Varsity Baseball this spring. I have a sister, Kelly, who is an RN. She has a couple children and has been married for 13+ years. My father, Dennis, is retired from Dow, but just as busy as ever (Fire Chief and assessor in Beaver Township). My mother is still going strong; both are active in their church and my mother's a heck of a bowler. It is great to read all these Bios. I hope more people get involved. Didn't make the 20 year reunion (had obligations with the children) but I'm looking forward to the 25th!!!
