Elizabeth Allen Major

Moved to Chicago in 1989 after graduating from Oakland University. I met my husband at work and we were married in 1992. Worked for Akzo Nobel Chemicals in their legal department until after my first daughter was born. I was a stay at home mom for many years. I recently went back to work, first writing for a my town's Patch website and now work part time at Edward Jones.

My two brothers are still in the Detroit area and we get back there often for visits - can't believe how much the area has changed!
