Janine Anderson Gaalswyk ( VICA - President )
I have lived in Oklahoma since 1996.
My daughter
Mandi leaves in in March 08' for the Mission Field, to teach/preach in a local Bible School and area villages in Uganda, Africa, where she will be until November 2008. She has always had a love in her heart and a yearning to go to Africa since she was a small girl.
She sold everything she had (all her material possessions - ALOT -let me tell you). Would you be able to do that? Honestly I don't think I could. We are so very proud of her.
My oldest son Brandon, married a girl who graduate from Oral Roberts University in Theology, he is a contemporary christian musician and has recorded one professional CD and is working on his second one. He is married and he and his wife have given us two beautiful grandchildren.
My youngest boys, Jacob and Chase, are very busy teen-agers. Both very involved in Youth group at church, skateboard, and are the joy of our household.
Jacob is an incrediable artist, he also has been asked to draw art for tatoos for different individuals, other than that his art work needs to be displayed in a gallery - I am looking into that. Jacob is the comedian of our family, if you want your stomach to hurt for awhile from laughing hang with him for a couple of hours.
Chase wants to go the the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado - someday. He is getting involved with the Civil Air Patrol in the next month. He is our quiet one, but also the one who has such a humble spirit.
I homeschool both of them, as I did with my two older children. As you can tell I am very proud of my children, and I thank God every day for the ability he gave me and the wisdom he gave me to raise them.
I love being a Grandma, and I love being able to spoil and send home.
