Today's Featured Biography
Sandy Wilkins Channon
Moved to England in 1971 , married a Royal Air Force Career NCO (he now works as a civil servant for the RAF), still hapillymarried (32 years this month). Had two children, one married living locally, working for the RAF, the other just graduated from USC with a degree in Theatre Arts, living in LA for the last 10 years.
I have worked since 1988 after raising my family, in various administrative posts in various business types. Plan to work until 65.
I enjoy choral singing with the RAF Brize Norton Singers (been in the group for 12 years). My husband and I have been line dancing for 7 years and it forms a large part of our social lives. We enjoy reading, cinema, theatre, live music, eating out and gardening, which seems to be the English national pastime.
I enjoy the very slow pace of the British way of life, love the history and scenery. We have done some European travelling, visited various USA destination, including the most interesting Williamsburg, Virginia and to visit my family, who live in Ga, Wa, Ca, Ind, and Omaha, where we will be visiting in June for the first time since 1983, when I visited my grandmother.
Whilst my life isn't very exciting, it has been very fulfilling.
I would love to know what others are up to from my class.
