I live in Wisconsin now, but after graduating from Bryan, I worked locally and got married. We had a son Brandon. I was not happy with the weather and what I was doing for work so we moved to Arizona. I worked in the family business for a few years. We had our 2nd child a beautiful girl, Jordan. I was still not happy with my job. During that time I really got into doing sound for bands.. I worked with many local act and a few national acts (Phoenix had a big alternative music scene) Dead Kennedy's, Minute men, Skinny Puppy, Anthrax, many more. I decided to get more education in the sound field. We moved to Florida and I went to school.
After graduating I went to Texas and went to work for Showco. Showco is a national sound company, I have worked for them for 18 years. During that time I have traveled the world, Europe, Japan , Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Asia, South east Asia, Middle East, Russia almost everywhere but Hawaii. Some of the people I have worked for are, Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Korn, Vince Gill, Reba, Alan Jackson, Destinys Child, Christina Aguleria, Sound Garden, Ted Nugent, George Michaels many more. Three years ago Showco was bought by Clair Brothers Audio. They have combined the 2 companies to form the largest sound company in the world. I have lived the dream.
During my years on the road I got divorced, but a few years later I found someone. Laurie is so special, we have been married for 12 years now. I still travel on the road and I Love it.
I could not make it to the reunion because I was in Europe doing a Bon Jovi tour. I really would have loved to go.
I am glad to hear all the life stories that everyone has.
