Hello class of 98! If any of you remember me, it would be as Amy Inge. I got married in May 2006 and am now Amelia (Amy) Bayer. After highschool, I went to Kent State where I eventually graduated with a B.A in English. I ran track for the first year, got injured, and well, there went the scholarship. I joined the Army after paying for my sophmore year and am still in the reserve. I was promoted to E-6 or SSG last year. I just finished my masters in education in June 06 and am currently working at the child development center on post here in Hohenfels Germany. Oh yeah, in 04 I moved to Germany to finish my B.A. I got certified to teach English as a Foreign language, so I had to come to Germany for that. I taught at the Technical University of Dresden after graduating. After one year of teaching, I was mobilized. I was on active duty here in Bavaria until Oct 07 when I went back to reserve status because of my pregnancy. Sophia is now 6 weeks old! Being a parent is hard. Whew! Is that enough? I come home at least once or twice each year. Maybe I will be there for the 10 year reunion.
