Today's Featured Biography
Robert Ayers
Pat and I live on an 1890 farm in the Blue Ridge mountains near Boone, NC, home of Appalachian State University. Jim and Christine have two sons (Mickey, 2 and Johnny, 1)and live in Cincinnati. Meg and Doug Ruffing are with child and live in Springboro. Tommy is single, living in Tampa.
We spend most weekends at a small house on Watauga Lake nearby in TN, and visit OH and FL a few times a year to visit the kids. I work for an aerospace company and manage one of its divisions, SMR Technologies, in WV, where I usually spend Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I worked with Goodrich for 15 years, Michelin for 8 years and have been with B/E Aerospace for 10 years.
I have relocated a many times: Charlotte, NC, Greenville, SC, Clermont-Ferrand, France, Coral Springs, Florida, 5 times in OH and finally Boone, NC.
