Kenneth Johnson

After high school, I attended Oklahoma City University. In 1963, I enlisted in the USAF, serving as a instructor in Aviation Physiology at Vance AFB and Ellsworth AFB, and then cross trained in Medical Laboratory, serving at the USAF Academy, CO, Dover AFB, Del, Udorn AB, Thailand, F.E. Warren AFB, WY, Alconbury, England, and Hanscom AFB, MA. I retired from the Air Force in 1984 after serving for 21 Years as a Medical Laboratory Superintendent. Upon my return from Thailand in 1975, I moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming with all five of my children by myself. I met my wife Deb at church and we married in 1978. We combined families, my five, her two and eventually our one. We raised 7 of our 8 children. After retirement from the Air Force, I relocated to Cheyenne, Wyoming, where we now live. I work for the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities as the Industrial Pretreatment Program Coordinator. I am active in the Cheyenne Frontier Days Ticket Committee. We are very active in the LDS Church, serving in many positions from Scout Master to Sunday School Teacher and spend many hours delving into family geneology. We have 21 grandchildren at the current time. Our children located all over the US. When we retire in another 2 years, we'll hook up the camper, and go visit each of our children, use their electric and other utilities for a while and then go on to visit another one. Our dream is to make another trip to Alaska and spend a little more time seeing the sites. If you ever come through Cheyenne or come to Frontier Days, give us a call. Ken & Deb Johnson
