Melissa Johnson Glad

Life has been a journey; started out rough & traumatic before turning to a happier direction - my last name says it all.

Enjoyed many short-term mission trips to India with my husband to remote villages - seeing life from a different perspective. Since Covid restrictions are easing for overseas travel we hope to start traveling next year before we're too old to go.

A recent high school graduate asked me yesterday what I had wanted to grow up to be - and I just laughed. I told her it was easier to tell her what I didn't want to do - I never wanted to work in an office, so I never took any business or typing classes in high school; and I even remember telling people that! God had different plans, that's all I did and with no regrets. Have had some amazing jobs and amazing experiences in ministry.

besides working full-time, i am involved with the Gideons and Child Evangelism Fellowship.
