Today's Featured Biography
JUILE MILEY SHEFFIELD
I moved away from c-burg after graduating in '77 & moved to Texas in '78 after attending airline school. Had a job interview with the airlines & that took me to TX. However, back in June '83, I moved back to c-burg and after 1 job interview and sending out 47 resumes only to be informed that I was either over qualified or made too much money for the jobs I was applying for; I was never given the opportunity to take any of the jobs at a lower pay. I had some legal business to take care of in Dallas in April of '84, so it was doing the time we came back to do the legal work that we decided to move back to TX since we were living 10 months living off our savings. So in May '84, we moved back to TX & have been here ever since. My maiden name in school was JULIE MILEY, got married to Jim Diehl from c-burg who graduated from CASHS in '74. We divorced in '97 and he still lives in TX too with his own business & I do all the accounting work & IRS & state reporting for his business. He lives 10 minutes from the TX stadium where the Dallas Cowboys play, however, I live 15 minutes from where the new Cowboy statidum is being built in Arlington now! All my family & his family still live in PA. I used to go back to PA about once a year, then it extended to about every 5 years & the last I was home was in '04. Nothing seems to change with the people, except the town has grown. Most people seem to think that nothing exists outside the walls of c-burg and people have closed minds. I'm proud of the opportunities I've accomplished without the help of any family or anyone. I remarried 8 years ago to a complete southern gentleman (Sheffield is my now name) who was born & raised in Texas, which is hard to find a true TEXAN these days. Many people are from the north & all over! He works in the work comp field doing bill review on doctors/hospitals claims. Thus, he's the one who gets to tell the doctors & hospitals that they WON'T get paid for what they are charging for. He is also involved with prison ministry for the last 3 years. I work for an engineering company as a Document Control Officer, working from home since November '06 after being laid off from my job of 10 years at Baylor Medical Center working in the in-patient pharmacy department. My oldest son, who will be 24 on March 17, is in his 2nd year of teaching 10th grade World History & is the Head Tennis Coach at Haltom High School, he will be getting married in July and bought him a house about a year ago. My youngest son, will be 21 in July, is attending UNT (University of North Texas) with about a year left before graduating and will be teaching History on the secondary level and coaching either football or basketball & he will be getting married either in 2010 or 2011. My boys are marrying sisters! My daughter is 10 years old & in the 5th grade and involved with choir at school & the GA program at church. I've only been able to attend the 5th year reunion, so I'd love to catch up with people that I went to school with from '75 - '77 when I graduated 6/10/77. Just curious as to what people are up to and how they are doing in life. I hope everyone has had a good life & doing well, so if you're interested in connecting up, please email me [email protected] or connect up through FaceBook. I'm new to FB, so I'm still learning about it. Hope to hear from people, so God Bless each of you & wishing all of you a great day! Take care & hope to hear back soon............ Julie Miley Sheffield (3-9-09)

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
