Ronny L. Marshall, 70, of Windsor Twp., died Sunday, April 13, 2008, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Sylvia C. (Frey) Marshall, to whom he was married for 49 years on April 11.
Mr. Marshall was born August 27, 1937, in Dallastown, a son of the late Robert and Ruth (Fry) Marshall.
He retired in 1996 from Caterpillar in York and was a U.S. Navy veteran Mr. Marshall was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Yoe, Collinsville Fish & Game and was a 1955 graduate of Dallastown High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Marshall is survived by a son, David L. Marshall and wife, Buffy of Red Lion; four daughters, Sherry C. Marshall of Yoe, Lori A. Mann and husband, Mike of Felton, Kay M. Smith and husband, Curt of Red Lion, and Beth A. Rabuck and husband, James of Geneva, Ill.; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; a brother, Lynn Marshall of Elk Park, N.C.; and two sisters, Rita Starner of Dallastown and Holly Zumbrum of Hanover. He is preceded in death by a grandson; step-grandson; and a brother, Gary Marshall.
Burial will be in St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery.
