Today's Featured Biography
Lisa Broadbent Freebery
I completed West Chester Unversity in 1990 with a degree in Special Education. I also competed for West Chester's swim team for four years. I went on to teach twelve years at the Cerebral Palsy Association in Swarthmore. In 1997, I married Patrick Freebery and moved to Hockessin,DE. He is an Oncology Manager for Sanofi Aventis. Our first child, Lauren was born in July 2000. I worked two more years and then decided to be a stay at home Mom. Our second child, Riley was born in December 2003. She was a Christmas Eve baby, and that made for an amazing Christmas holiday. Right now, I am enjoying time with the kids and helping out at my oldest's school. We enjoy summers in Lewis, DE at our beach condo. The children seem to be taking to the water like both their parents did. My plan is to get back into teaching again when both children are in Elementary School.
