After School I went to work for Humble Oil & Ref. Co. I did not go to College and they laid me off. I went to work for Carl Vickers as a roughneck out of Corpus Christi. After that I was a derrick man for several Drilling Company's.
Carol Jean and I had Four Beautiful Children. 1958 Jeanne---1960 Lee---1962 Linda---1963 Cindy
They gave us 10 Grand Children and 5 Great Grand Children.
Due to a car wreck in Alice I had to find lighter work. Carol and I Split up.
I moved to San Antonio. Thanks to the education I got in Kingsville I became a machinist with very little difficulty.
I met and Married Charlotte Walker. We moved to Houston and I worked for Houston Engineers. They made down hole equipment for drilling. Smith Ind. bought them out. I was an inspector for the rest of my career. I retired in 2000 and moved back to San Antonio. To get out of the house I work part time for my brother in law in the A/C business. The rest of the time I work on our family tree. I also work on others.
Life has been good to me and mine. I give all the credit to God and his wisdom. With the help of God and my Charlotte I quit drinking in 1975. I quit smoking in 1980. All of my children are healthy and all have good jobs. They are truly what it is all about.

Our country is falling down very fast. This is not the change we voted for. Vote to change the power in Congress before we loss our freedom. Love as ever to all of you Sam
