Today's Featured Biography
Reba Hasten King
I graduated mid-term, January 1975, and immediately started Amarillo College. After dating for three years, Glen and I got married August 20, 1976. Our son was born July 15, 1977, and I quit school. We moved to Garland over Memorial day weekend 1980, and our daughter was born three months later. A little over two years later, on Thanksgiving weekend, twin daughters arrived. I worked off and on during the next eight years. When we finally got all four kids in school, I started Colin County Community College. After earning my Associate degree in music and education, I took a temporary job between semesters at Penney's home office. I've been there eleven years so far. I'm a co-manager over a team of nine women who help produce the catalogs.
I read, play on the computer, watch TV, shop, see movies, and work crosswords in my spare time. Glen and I just became empty nesters, so we hope to travel in the future.
