Kristi McCrary Harrison

Melvin and I married in October 1987. Melvin finished his Bachelors in Music Business from West Texas A&M in 1992, and I went to Amarillo College to start my degree, and we both worked for the Amarillo Symphony. We moved to Fort Worth in 1994 to go to school. Melvin got his Masters in Violin Performance from Texas Christian University and I received my Bachelors in Vocal Performance. I am currently working on my Masters Degree. We are both employed by TCU and are also professional musicians in the metroplex. We do not have any children, but 1 dog named Tiffini (15 years old). We bought our first house 2 years ago and are loving life.
Update: We now have 3 very special babies. Our new dogs were adopted from a puppy mill. We adopted the mom and her two puppies. We lost our Tiffini in June of last year. Our dogs are our children because we can't have any due to me having to have surgery. All of Melvin's students that he teaches are our children. We are very close to a lot of them and their parents. We are so blessed by God.
We are both still at TCU and are both professional musicians in the Metroplex. It keeps us very busy. We love it though. We will miss everyone for we will not be able to attend the reunion. Anybody can email us though. We would love to hear from you. God bless all. Update: I graduated in May of 2007 with my Masters Degree in Liberal Arts from TCU. I have worked in the Registrar's Office at TCU since 2002. I am the Veteran Certification Officer. I work with our military men and women once they have left their service in order to go to school to complete their education. What a rewarding job. I also work our graduation procedures for the university. Boy is that tough. Melvin is still teaching, and playing and loves every minute of it. We are so blessed by the life that God has given us. God bless everyone and take care. Update 1/30/09 Well I was promoted January 14, 2008 as the Manager, Academic Progress Services, which means I am in charge of graduation here at TCU. Boy is it ever a tough job. Melvin and I are doing great. We just did a house remodel, and it was challenging. Still love living in Fort Worth. Would love to hear from anybody.
