Today's Featured Biography
Tony Bovinich
Hello,
After graduation, I went to work for the Dallas County Sheriff as a jailer at Lew Sterrett. I worked there for three years in the intake division, and was promoted to deputy sheriff in 1993. I continued to work in the jail until I left and went to the Midlothian Police Department in January 1998. I worked in the patrol division for about 4 years, and I was promoted to investigator. I was promoted to patrol sergeant in May 2007 and I am currently working in patrol.
I am unmarried and living in the Midlothian, TX area. I have two children from my first wife, Karen Wallace, who went to Garland High until 1986. Jordon is 17 years old and Jarron is 14 years old.
I spend the majority of my time staying active. Those of you who knew me in high school knew me to be a little shy. That has worn off, and I am very outgoing, free spirited, and fun loving. I spend what time I can with my kids, they live with their mother. During the summer months, I spend a lot of time in my boat at the lake, and no, I don't fish. I love the lake tie ups in the summer, and then going to the lake restaurants and bars on Eagle Mountain Lake and occasionally at Joe Pool lake. During the winter, I find somewhere to cuddle up and wait for summer.
I am looking forward to our reunion and would love to help get the ball rolling on this. I am particularly looking forward to seeing everyone whom I have lost contact with over the years and catching up. I was a dumb butt and didn’t go to prom, and I missed the 10 year that I have heard some about. I won't miss the 20 year.
