I went to Kruse, Jackson and Pasadena. Two years before we graduated our family moved to LaPorte, where I graduated in 1968. I attended and graduated from San Jacinto Jr. College. In 1970 I went to work for DuPont in LaPorte to earn college tuition to attend University of Houston. One year later I married Kathy Sobotik (class of 68 Lee HS Baytown)in Baytown, Texas. A new wife and new house kept me at DuPont so I never went on to U of H. I have been at DuPont for 37 years. The last 27 I have worked as an electrician for the plant. Kathy and I have three sons; Lance age 33, Clay age 30 and Ryan age 27. We have two daughter-in-laws; Jennifer and Colleen, and three grandsons; Adam age 12, Luke age 3, and Dominick age 1. Kathy and I are looking forward to doing some traveling and spending time with our grandchildren and family when we retire in a few years.

"I can't say enough about what this site has done for our reunion committee. As the person who maintains the class page I have to say I am impressed. I am able to use my web design background to benefit the class without the hassle of paying for a domain and hosting fees or hosting myself. I really like the fact that the alumni have the choice to contribute and it is not mandatory. It takes a lot of stress away from those who may not be able to afford monthly fees but still want to stay in touch. The alumni can see how everyone is doing and what everyone is up to. The additional resources you provide will be put to good use for our reunion. Thank you to your team for all your hard work in maintaining your system."
