Linda Williams

I went to Pasadena High starting my freshman year in 1968. I was in the band that year and cherished all the great times I got to play in concerts, contests, and football games. I especially remember with fondness what a great band trip we took to Six Flags one year. I remember my feet hurt so bad from walking, I was a mess.
I attended PHS until Oct of my senior year. My mother decided to move back to Odessa, which was my hometown for much of my youth.
After graduating from Odessa High, I got married and started a family. I have four daughters--Kimberly is the oldest at 35, then Kerri is 33 and Holli is 24. They are all married and live here in Odessa. I lost a daughter (Kasey Lynn)in 96 who was hit by a car as she crossed the street with friends near a local shopping mall. She was 14. I consider her my guardian angel. I donated all of her organs to help 11 people survive their illnesses. Even though I lost a daughter, I will always have the memories and pictures to be blessed with.
I have lived in Odessa, Donaldsonville Louisiana, Bryan-College Station, McCamey Texas, Georgetown Tx and back to Odessa. I have lived here since 2002. I am currently divorced. I was married for 22 yrs. I am a sales exec for a local communications company that sells Motorola equipment.
I have had so many different occupations over the course of my life, I am very versatile to say the least. The occupation I have held the longest would have to be an electronics technician. I worked on TV's, VCR's ,Stereos, and TV Station equipment as I was an engineer at a local TV station here for awhile. I also was a communications technician working on radios, repeaters, and such for 5 yrs. If I had a dollar for everything I've ever fixed in my life, I'd be rich.
I have 4 grandkids...Kayla is 14 and an up and coming barrel racer. Karissa is 11 and the actress of the bunch. Gage is 5 and what a delight...finally got a boy in the family.I also have a granddaughter named Shelby Grace who is 3 and the youngest one is Laci Nicole who is 1 yr old. She is such a sweetie.
My parents have passed and so has my brother, but I have so many family and friends that I feel very blessed.
I have a biological family that I met in 1990(I was adopted). I also have a wonderful in-law family that loves me like I'm one of their own and of course my adoptive family.
I really enjoyed the PHS reunion and look forward to the next one in 5 years. I must admit that attending two high school reunions in the span of a few months really was confusing. It's amazing how some of my PHS classmates resemble some of my OHS classmates. But,how many people can say they can attend two high school reunions?
It is ironic that TJ Mills was the Head football coach at Permian High School here in Odessa the whole time I lived here and I never associated TJ Mills with the Tommy Jack Mills I went to school with. I only wish I had known that then.
