No great success story here, nothing exciting. OK, let's see. Parents said if I couldn't decide what I wanted to do they would pay for TJC only. Tried that, broke up with serious boyfriend, dropped out. Met first husband, had two sons, got divorced. Moved back in with parents, went back to TJC, and actually graduated and made straight A's for the first time in my life because it was my only escape from two babies and my mother who was in her early 50's... Got married again, lived in McGregor, TX, for a short while (significant because it's 8 miles up the road from Crawford!), had my daughter, then moved to SW MO, after swearing I would never leave TX. Been here ever since, and I now swear I won't go back, even after I found myself divorced again. (Snow every winter? Hello!!) My oldest is now a sophomore and a percussionist (God help me!), middle child quite active in scouts and church (First Baptist, the rest of us should be also!), youngest is a straight-A-student/bookworm, a lot like her mother except for the "straight-A" part. I recently spent 6 months helping a friend flip a house. She did all the painting, I did all the rest, electrical and plumbing stuff. I now work for a regional map publisher/distributor as their warehouse manager/inventory control (and general handy-person). My fiance, children and I are blissfully happy leading our normal, boring life one day at a time! Oh, and I still keep in touch (although they'd say not very well!) with my two best friends from high school, Jill Wyatt and Marci Parrott. What I want to know is this: Who else gets their rolled-up entire-senior-class picture out of their dresser drawer once every couple years, finds themselves, their best friends, names a few more people they hardly knew, then gets stumped on someone they sat across from at lunch every freakin' day? "Damn!" Back in the drawer for another two years..
