The day of our 30th reunion is my 24th wedding anniversary. I married and met Steve at BYU and we have seven sons and one daughter.
We are very involved in Boy Scouts and four of our sons have received their Eagle Scout Awards. Matthew and Jesse will receive the rank of Eagle Scout by the end of the year. I am a cub master for our pack and our youngest son is now Webelos age.
We also have missionaries in the family. My husband served in the California, Fresno Mission, I served in the Ohio Columbus Mission and our sons served in the following missions. Jedediah, Chile, Osorno Mission and Christopher, Uruaguay, Montevideo. Nathan is currently a missionary in the Belgium/Netherlands mission. Tyler is saving for his mission and will probably go at the first of the year.
Serena is 12 and fills our home with sweetness.
I am a substitute teacher and have enjoyed teaching Kindergarten four months and 8th grade Spanish for six months. I usually don't take long term jobs but the schools were desperate. I love kids and feel priveleged to work with them. They are so valuable. I also enjoy reading, sewing, baking, camping, and I'm a soccer referee. Music is important to me and I love to sing in the choir where my voice gets drowned out or in the shower where the closed space and steam make my voice sound very rich. I am teaching myself to play piano and can play a total of three songs plus the level two classic songs in Bastien. Well That's All Folks!! This has been fun.
