Steve Masley


Graduated from college from WSU in humanities and biological sciences.

During college, traveled around the world, working in a ski shop, as a sailboat captain, and selling swiss watches.

Graduated from the UW medical school. Completed an extra year in international health care.

Published articles on malaria, leprosy, and worked in 15 countries.

Attended a residency in family and community medicine in Tucson, and met my wife Nicole and married. Worked in a refugee camp in Pakistan with Nicole.

Worked for Group Health Cooperative as a physician for 10 years in Olympia, WA. During this time, did volunteer work in 4 countries.

Became the father of two wonderful boys, Lucas and Marcos.

Published first book, 28 Day Antioxidant Diet Program.

Moved to Florida for a research and teaching opportunity.

Published second book;, Vegetarian Holiday Feasts.

Became the medical director of the Pritikin Longevity Center.

Published third book, Ten Years Younger, featured on the Discovery channel and the Today Show, plus over 200 other media interviews.

Became the president and medical director of the Masley Optimal Health Center in St Petersburg, Florida and I see patients from across the country.

Over the last 10 years, I have written two more best-selling books, The 30-Day Heart Tune-Up and Smart Fat, plus produced two PBS programs, 30 Days to a Younger Heart and Smart Fats to OutSmart Aging.

Currently, when not working, I am happy to have time to sail, scuba dive, speak French and Spanish, travel, garden, and spend time with family.

My passion is empowering people to optimize their lifestyle and enjoy optimal health for decades to come.
