Ron Melencio
Hi all! Like some people have said, I can't believe it's been 20 years. I don't feel a day over 30.
After Oly, I went to UW and took the 5 year plan to get my degree in Poli Sci. I thought about law school or teaching but remembered that I hated school!
Worked at UPS for a few years and worked my way up the food chain to supervisor but the strike caused a freeze in promotions. I also was tired of working graveyard. Also temped at a title company at the same time. So my life consisted of work and sleep.
Got a job at Seattle Mortgage in the Reverse Mortgage Department. I have a staff of 21 and was promoted to VP last year so work is good.(I knew I was old when I started interviewing employees that were BORN in '86!)
No wife and no kids that I know of. I bought a condo in Kirkland a few years back when I transferred to our Bellevue office. If not working, spend most of my time at the gym or trying to golf.
If I don't make it to the reunion, I just want to give my best wishes to all in our class. OLY RULES!!!
