Well, let's see. 25 years ago, I graduated from high school. At the graduation ceremony, Jeff Beck, Dennis Porter, Eric Hermansen, Leon Dorr (R.I.P. buddy) and I walked out of the fieldhouse ready to take on the world. Silly rabbits....
(deep breath) After high school, I went to UW Whitewater for a week. After winning a beach volleyball tournament down in Florida, I decided to 'skip college and go right to the pro's.' Career lasted 6-7 years. Aside from only breaking even financially, several bouts with skin cancer and a really bad shoulder...no regrets.
From there, several dead end jobs and a sincere lack of enthusiasm to work for others...I started my own company called The Sports Management Group. We provide managing, consulting and event coordinating options for youth sports organizations. Had no clue it would develop into what it has today. Ended a 14 year varsity volleyball coaching career in 2004 and have been the head women's volleyball coach at Madison Tech since.
Married now for nine years...four beautiful kids; Grace is 5, Emma, Chloe and Cody are 2 (yes....TRIPLETS!). We have resided in Verona for the last eight years.
