I can't believe it's been 20+ years since high school. Crazy. A big thank you to Mary for putting this awesome website together for us! (Yea, Mary!)
Rewind...I lived at home while I went to the UW-Madison so my first experience away from home was when I spent my junior year abroad in Madrid, Spain. Sue Snow and I were on the same program and Tony Fischer was studying in Seville at the same time on a different program. Una experiencia maravillosa! I went back in 1994 to visit friends for a couple of weeks but that's it. I'm way overdue for another trip!
After graduating from the UW-Madison with a Finance degree and an International Business certification, I started working at Dean Health Plan. I spent seven years there in various accounting roles then moved on to Dean Health System corporate where I currently work as a Senior Business Analyst.
Somewhere in there I was married and divorced. It was good as first marriages go. Since Lampe is so much easier than Ziolkowski, I kept it. My ex says I "earned it" :)
I finally completed my MBA coursework at Cardinal Stritch University this September. OMG, the freedom feels so good!
The slideshow above is of my almost two year old cockatiel, Sunny. She's the cutest, cuddliest feather baby there ever was. ;) I'm trying to be a good bird mommy; I even found a bird diaper for her (see last pic) although it's not her favorite as you can tell by her flat feathered expression.
That's all for now. See you all at the next reunion!
