Today's Featured Biography
Harris Atkins
Mary and I are living in Gig Harbor, WA, where we moved after I retired from Boeing in 1996 after 35 years and Mary from teaching. We’re enjoying life.
We’re involved in the community: I’m on the Gig Harbor Planning Commission and coordinate a small genealogy group. Mary works on a committee to recommend college scholarships for seniors at one of the local High Schools. We both enjoy playing golf, bridge, traveling and participating in church and social activities. I like working in our garden experimenting with different types of flowers. Fortunately, most things grow well here so it easy to be sucessful at it. (However, I'm still struggling to get Crepe Myrtle to grow and bloom like the one we had in our yard in Waycross)
We are blessed with a daughter, son-in-law, and a grand-daughter and two grand-sons in Ravensdale, WA and a son and daughter-in-law and two grandsons who live in Milton, WA and a son, daughter-in-law and two grand-daughters who live in Alexandria, VA. We especially enjoy showing visitors around the Puget Sound area so give us a call, we would like to have you visit.
