35 Year Reunion Announcement!
Saturday,
July
2,
2011
The date is not set in stone, I just picked the same Saturday we use each reunion year. Do you want something different? If so post your ideas on the message board. Randy Vande Stouwe & Steve Folkens volunteered at our 30th to head up the 35th Reunion! I wonder what they'll be planning?

I didn't graduate from the WL Class of '76, but have many great memories of my years there.
I graduated from a Christian boarding school in Nevada, Iowa, then went to Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, for one year of secretarial training. It was intended to be training I could use to put myself through school for something else, but I discovered it was something I excelled at and really enjoy, so I never pursued anything else.
I moved to Hinsdale, Illinois,(near Chicago) in 1977, meeting my (late) husband Dennis shortly thereafter. With two children in diapers, we headed off to California for his medical school education in 1983, then back to Illinois for residency training in 1987. He began private practice in family medicine in 1990. After eight years of my supporting him through school, he owed me some time off, so I quit work and had another child.
We moved to southern Illinois in 1993, and I have been here ever since. In 2003, Dennis was killed in a car accident. My older daughters were 21 and 22, and my youngest was 11 years old when they lost their father.
I am currently employed at a rural elementary school as a secretary in charge of records and meals program. My two "pre-med" daughters are married and living in the area. My youngest will graduate from high school this year. I have four grandchildren.
I spend my time working, traveling, babysitting, and taking care of my pets, my pool and my acreage.
