Hello all, where in the hell do I start. I hate typing so I hope to sum up my life in a few short paragraphs. As most of you know I enlisted in the Marine Corps in the spring of 88. While in the Marine Corps I did a lot of traveling and as a result of that I had to grow up a lot quicker that I anticipated. In the winter of 1990, I was deployed to the Persian Gulf for what we now know as the first Gulf War (Desert Storm/Shield/Saber). I was part of a security force that processed P.O.W.'s.
When I got back to the US I applied for Barracks Duty in our Nation's Capital. I would have been that guy that stands at the bottom of Air-force One in the dress blue uniform saluting the President as he comes and goes. But I opted out once I found out I had to reenlist for another 4 years to get it. So instead I returned to the glitz and glamour of Manor. Texas
I attended St. Edward's University where I studied kinesiology, shortly after I went to work at Keeling Middle School in South Austin. I met my wife Kimberly during that time. We also had our first child Quentin (12) during that time. I moved to the Dallas area in the summer of 1996. In 1999 we had our second child Zachary (7).
Kimberly currently works for David Weekley Homes as a sales consultant. I am currently at Ranchview High School in Carrollton, Texas. (Carrollton is about 8 miles north of Dallas), where I serve as the Defensive Coordinator for our football team and the Head Boys Track and Field coach. Gotta tell you, besides my wife and my kids, coaching is my life. I absolutely love it. I also love the fact that my boys are very successful in athletics as well as academics. Being a coach I love that!
I guess all in all things turned out okay. Like they say; any day above ground is a Good day! I know the reunion is in October which I will be in the middle of football season at that time, but I hope to make it down. If I am not there and do not have the chance to see any of you, God Bless, Good Luck and take care. eh
